My favorite movie is “TONARI-NO-TOTORO”. Do you know this movie? It is really popular movie among children. It was made by Hayao Miyazaki. He is one of the most famous and popular movie directions in Japan. “Tenku-no-shiro-raputa”, “Sen-to-chihiro-no-kamikakushi” and “Hauru-no-ugokushiro” are his works. These movies are also really popular. His works are screened over seas country now.

I and my older brother like it. I was 3 or 4 years old in those days. My parents said “You were loved this movie, and you watched it like every day”. I can remember it vividly. The main characters in the movie are Totoro, Mei. Satsuki, Chibi Totoro, makkuro-kurosuke, and Nekobasu. They are very cute and funny. Totoro is fairy of the forest unless I’m very much mistaken. He looks like hippopotamus (I thought…), and soft hair. I wanted to touch him so much. I liked songs of it too. “Sanpo” and “Tonari-no-Totoro” are for example. Especially “Sanpo” was my favorite song. I heard I was singing it anytime from my parents. When I singing this song, I felt cheer up. I was looking forward to watch it. I and my older brother weren’t tired it, rather, we asked parents to watch it.

I think this movie gave me a fantasy and dream. It is really popular among children now. I hope to it gives many wishes and dreams to their. I would like to show it my children in the future.

My worst day

My worst day is parting.　I like my home-room teacher when I was second grade. Home-room teacher's name is Yoshimoto Sensei. He put on his glasses, and I thought he is stern. Therefore I couldn't talk with him at first. Everyone too. But he often smiled, and that smile made me happy. I felt what though he is outwardly a little blunt, he is very kindhearted. Then, I often talked to him. His class was really interesting for me. I can remember a Japanese class well. He loved locomotives and stations, so he covered "Kikansya-Yaemon" in Japanese class. It was so good story. I loved it too.

But he got angry frequently... He shouted loud voice. I really don't like it. However, his side of the story was right. We thought "I'm sorry" in our heart.

When I was graduate from elementary school, he must leave it too. I was terribly shocked to hear it. At first, I couldn't believe it. I felt solitary from morning when he leaves school. He looked sadly too. I wasn't remember only crying and crying. He said "Thank you so much" for me. This word also made me sad.

He is living in Yatsushiro, and he continuing his work.

My memorable day

My memorable day is competition of the brass band. I was a member of the brass band club when I was junior high school student. I was took charge of the clarinet. I love music very much. I was absorbed in playing a clarinet. So I have never absented club activities. We had to play a school events and ceremonial occasion of our town. For example, entrance ceremony, graduation ceremony, concert and parade. But our ultimate goal was competition of the brass band. It is the most biggest competition in Kumamoto. Almost all of the brass band clubs are take part in it. And everyone aim for gold prize. Naturally, we would like to get it too. Therefore we were practiced hard. We felt thoroughly tired. But no one stopped practice.

At last, competition came. I was under extreme tension. But I believed myself and friends. I hardly remembered in performance. But I think I could play well. And I gained my end. The result was silver prize. Not gold. But we were really happy. This is my memorable day in my life.

My favorite animal

I’m poor at the animals, especially dogs.
My neighbor was having a dog as a pet. The dog name was “KORO”. He was very ferocious, and always barking when I passed in front of him. This bark was loud. So I was really terrified at it. One day, absolute occurrence happened. I was walking around my house. He was sleeping. But suddenly, he waked!! Then he ran follow me!! I was crying as I shouted!! I was running and ran and ran!! But he didn’t stop!! Finally I was bite by him!!!! I was raised a grievous wail of pain. Then, I don’t like dogs even if it puppies. I can’t so much as approach dogs…
However, rabbits are only my favorite animal. We were having rabbits in elementary school. We named rabbits “Haru”, “Kumi”, “Kou”, “Yuu”. These names are I and my friend’s name. They were snow-white and really cute. We were taken care of them every day. For example, feed them and clean their house. I was looking forward to seeing them. They have borne babies one day. We were made a pet of babies. But they died…we didn’t know…don’t touch newborn babies… I was very sad. We were apologized for them. It was unhappy memory. But I still like rabbits.

My precious thing

My precious thing is picture book. My mother likes picture book very much. So, there are many picture books in my house. And she has read the book for me before I go to bed. I was really like it!! My favorite books are “Sanbiki-no-yagi-no-garagaradon” and “Wasurerarenai-okurimono”. Do you know these books? I really like these books, so I read it everyday when I was childhood. I wasn’t lost interested in this books. My old brother also likes these books very much. Since then, as time passed, but I have these books I can’t throw away it. I read it again sometimes.
I would like to read these books for my children in the future. If you haven’t read it, please read.

My family in America

I have been to America for four years ago. I stayed California for a month. There are six people in my host family. Father's name is DAVE, mother is BETH, old brother is ZEB, younger brother is JAKE, old sister is KELLY, younger sister is BROOKE. Everyone are friendly, gaiety and kindness(^□^) I talked them everyday. I felt their is my true family. We were live together in friendship!!
We still keep in touch with them. That summer is my precious thing. I will forget never them!! I hope to visit them someday. They are my special persons forever!!

Hello. My name is Haruka Matsuo. I’m glad to meet you. I’m 19years old. I’m a freshman at a college in Japan. I’m a student majoring in English. Because I’m interested in overseas. I have been to America when I was 15years old. I couldn't communicated my mind well. So, I was exercised about it. But these things reflected interest for me . Therefore, I’m looking forward to meet you!! I would like to know about me. And I want to make friends with everyone. So I’ll introduce about me.

There are seven people in my family. My Grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, old brother, and younger brother. We are living in harmony. Then, I love music. I like singing, listening, playing all. I can play piano and clarinet. I was learning the piano for 7 years, and I was a member of the brass band in junior high school. My favorite singer is “Ayumi Hamasaki”. I loved her since 13years old. She is very cute. And I can identify myself with her’s lyric. My favorite songs of her are “who…” and “JEWEL”. These songs are love songs. Her songs brought tears to my eyes when my heart was full of trouble. She is the woman of my dreams!! And also, I like cooking. I would like to learn foreign dishes. Please teach me.

I haven’t yet adjusted to this life. But I’ll try to accommodate myself to new ways of life. Please be my friend.

Mother's Day

I and father bought a flower for my mother.
I always can't saying "Thank you mother". So, I was send a flower with my whole heart.
"Thank you very much!!" my mother said. I was really happy too.

My father

I went shopping with my father.
I and my father are very good friends. He is really kind to me(^U^●) I have never angry by him!! I was very hated to go shopping with him. But I don't think so now. I love him very much★☆
