heavy Rain...

It rained heavily today. I'm go to school by train and bus and car. But today, the train didn't move because of heavy rain(>_<;) I could go to the station. But nobody knows when it move. So I have to get back my home...
The train move at fifteen past five!!!! It's late. So I stayed home all the day.

I ate MANGO-COCO today. I like mango soooooo much(>U<*) So I decided to buy it at first sight★☆ It taste was really good!! It is my cup of tea. Please eat it.

Dago-jiru


It is local dishes in Kumamoto. The locals called it "Dago-jiru". It is what we call Suiton, and it has thought the original form of udon. It has eaten since after the war. This dish will do for eating in winter. We can warm up it.
In the first place, Dago-jiru is flour knead like a hardness of earlobe, and stew with season vegetables. A ingredient in common use flour, leek, taro, carrot, Japanese radish, pumpkin, shiitake mushroom, burdock, pork, kombu stock, salt, miso. But each family have own tastes. Certainly, taste like what my mother used to make!!
There are many restaurants serving it in Kumamoto. So, you can perhaps eat it easily.

Kumamoto castle


Kumamoto-castle is one of the most famous castles in Japan. This castle was built by Kiyomasa Kato in 1588. In 1601 began to set up the castle, and completed in 1607. It is 9 kilometer about,
in extent is 98 thousand square meter in those days. It has 3 castle towers, 49 turrets, 18 turret gates, and 29 castle gates. The stone wall called "Musya-gaesi" is well-known. From then on, the Kato's and the Hosokawa's were lived there.
In 1877, "Seinan-no-eki" broke out. And castle towers were burned down. Castle of the present tower rebuilt by Kumamoto city in 1960.

Kumamoto's Festival in Uto


"Jizou matsuri" is one of Kumamoto's famous festivals. It holds in Uto on August 23 and 24 every year. It has held since the Edo period, and more than 350 year past.On the evening of the 23Th of August, exhibit many stone statues of Jizos. They are wearing beautiful dresses. People put fruits or confectioners. Children said "Namujizou, taibutsusan, agetekudasai-osyansen". The attraction of this festival is "Tsukurimon". The locals make it for a long time. Motif and material are free. They tackle "Tsukurimon" using their own separate ideas. For example, "Ganryuujima-no-tatakai", "Ikkyu-san", "Mickey Mouse" and so on. It's really beautiful and wonderful!!
But main event is needless to say, "Firework"!!!! It has held first day yearly. 3000 fireworks are shot off★☆ It is unspeakable beauty and magnificence!!!! You had better see it.

★BASASHI★


Horse sewing (BASASHI) is cooking we slice meat of a horse and distribute it. It is Sashimi of raw horse.
An area with a custom to live without baking horseflesh is Nagano, Yamanashi, Tohoku region and Kumamoto.Kumamoto is known for the present as the home of the horse sewing. However, the horse to use is occupied by North America product and a European product to sting most horses circulating in Japan. There is a little pure domestic production.

A big festival of Fujisaki shrine is called "a festival "horse driver" of HUSSAKI" for a citizen of Kumamoto-city familiarly more before the war. They are festivals on behalf of Kumamoto. A big festival of Fujisaki shrine is performed on September 15.
At 6:00 a.m., we move an object of worship to a resting place for a portable shrine of Shinmachi. And we leave Fujisaki Hachiman shrine of Igawabuchimachi. Three omikoshis. (GOSHINYO), a horse dedicated to the shrine (GOSINME) go ahead through a mounting a horse Shinto priest to the top solemnly.The decorated festival horse which brandished a folding fan and a parasol walks last. We match us who give a shout of "do-kai, do-kai" with a trumpet and a drumbeat.We walk with children dressed in a happi coat to a twisted towel.
This festival was courtesy to release the creature which we caught before.
About 65 participation group number of these festivals is groups.The participation number of people is about 18,000 every year.
When this big festival can be over, autumn of a full-scale crop visits Kumamoto.
